On Monday, April 18th, 2011, the Mayor and her District Council met with the members of the NGO Musanze Inc., and formally handed over control of the former Strabag compound to the head of the organization, Russell Rainey. The compound will now be named the “Musanze Opportunity Center,” and it will become a school for English, Construction, and Hospitality.
On February 25th, 2011, all new district officials for every level were sworn into office. This includes elected officials from the cells, sectors, and high district councils.
